What are standards use to manufacture 3lpe pipe coating?

3lpe coating standard are as Follows:

CSA Z245.21

AS 4321

DIN 30670

CSA Z245.21

The specifications for exterior polyethylene coatings sprayed at the factory to steel pipes are covered in CSA Z245. 21. The AS 4321 Specification outlines the specifications for 3lpe coating density polyethylene coatings and liners used in-plant to the pipes and fittings to avoid rust.

Using a method based on classification based on nominal composition or a method that uses classification as per metal kind, IS 3581 is a combination specification for classification.

There are three layers in these pipes, each with a distinct thickness. Layer 1 must be at least 80 m thick, and Layer 2 must be at least 250 m thick. Epoxy & adhesive width must be checked for conformity at the start of each shift as well as when the machine restarts following a break.

At least 10 measures must be taken at different sites evenly spaced along the length and rim of each tube in order to accurately establish the 3lpe coating thickness. For welded tubes, five of the aforementioned measurements must be taken evenly spaced along the lengths of the coated pipe at the peak of the welded joint. The minimal standards must be met by all reading.
